Sejak aku start training utk tournament Sabtu nanti, 'football frenzy' aku ni semakin menjadi2 pulak..
Tambahan pulak ade Confederation Cup ni, makin parah le..
Last time stay up sampai pagi2 buta, masa Euro Final Spain vs Germany...
Layan sama2 Azim & Adli..Tgh cuti sakit lagi masa tu..

Masa aku time2 sekolah dulu, ade gak berangan nak jdk professional footballer..
Pagi, petang, malam main bole je kejenye...

Tapi bile Co. aku ni bagi pelepasan 4.30pm dah bole keluo utk training..lps dua minggu aku dah rase tak larat..
Elok lagi aku duduk ofis je takpe..hehehe..

Pulak tu, coach suruh aku main defensive midfielder. Agaknye nengok ni aku ni suka sgt kejar bola..hehe..

Syukur Alhamdulillah so far aku layankan aje. Fitness pun dah ok skt2.
Lagipun, aku dah tunjukkan kat coach pasal chemoport aku yg masih tertanam kat dada kanan ni.
Takde la aku main lasak sangat.

Bukan le hebat sgt or suka nak score goals. Cume tu je posisi yg paling relax.. hehehe.

Kalo biasa kite nengok org pompuan suka shopping2 handbag, kasut etc..etc...,
actually laki2 pun ade dunia yg tersendiri..

In particular, sportman cam aku ni (takde la sport sgt pun..)
Bezanye, kami takde la buat collection cam org pompuan tu (hehehe..)
Bila kasut dah lunyai..tak pun kasut hilang ke...baru la beli yg lain...
Tapi ade gak (yg spesis kaya-raya) yg kejap2 tukar..kejap2 tukar..

Utk kasut bola, actually aku adalah peminat setia Adidas Predator..
Walaupun tak mampu nak beli, setiap kali terserempak dgn kedai sukan..mesti aku singgah & belek2 but Predator tu...
Aura die..perghh...dpt pegang pun kire lega dah...

Beza Predator dgn but2 yg lain cuma kat depan but tu ade salut getah..
Adidas claim bola bole bend / curve..lebih lengkung dari biasa...
Especially kalo amik free kick..tu yg Beckham asyik score je kot..
Secara teorinya, mmg aku percaya..
Tapi praktikalnye...kalo dah tak terer tu...pakai but emas pun tak power gak...kih 3x

Kebetulan but last week baru koyak lps main friendly ngan budak2 ex-Matrik UIA..

Sampai2 situ..mak datuk!!!
Panjang giler beratur...
Pendekkan ceta aku pun beratur la..start pkl 6.05pm..pkl 7.30pm baru dpt masuk dlm..

Oleh sebab Maghrib pun dah nak ujung2..aku cuma aim benda yg mmg aku crk...

Kebetulan terjumpe menatang ni..size 9..aku try2..agak besar..
tapi aku dah tak peduli apa masa tu..janji dpt Predator!!!hehehe
Lagipun penat beratur sejam lebih..takkan nak beli stokin RM5 aje kan?!!!



Alhamdulillah...berjaya aku mendapatkan Predator Absolute kaler merah dgn harga RM120. Berbaloi la kan.. Mula2 aku expect but aku tu gred B, maknanye original price dlm RM300-400 gitu..

Last Saturday masa aku ronda2 Pertama Complex...jumpe kasut yg sebijik...tebal gak habuk die..kes lelong tak laku la ni, diorg letak price tag RM450...

Aku tanya taukey tu, yg ni harga asal berapa??
"RM700++" - jawab apek tu.
Kulit kangaroo ke? Aku tanya lagi..
(Setahu aku, Predator ade 3 gred..Kalo A, pakai kulit kangaroo..kalo B, pakai sintetik + kulit, kalo C, PVC & takde getah kat depan..org panggil replika)
"Ya lor..Ni yg Beckham pakai la. Tapi Beckham punya ade tulis nama maa"

1998 ~ 2008

~Topik ini khusus utk kaki bola, maaf ye..~

1998, Stade de France
Sesape yg kaki bola sejak lahir, tentu korang masih ingat 2 gol yg Zidane sumbat masa final lwn Brazil (Perancis vs Brazil, 3-0)

Memori sepuluh tahun lepas tetiba terimbau tatkala menonton penalti Itali vs Sepanyol pagi tadi.
Ade satu kisah silam yg tak dpt dilupakan..

Masa tu aku Form 5, tgh sibuk2 nak SPM le katakan.
Tapi demam World Cup'98 time tu memang irresistible. Study,study jugak..bola pun layan beb!

Tup2 sehari dua sebelum 1st kick off, cikgu Math merangkap cikgu disiplin kitorang pegi 'simpan' TV kat dewan makan asrama yg tak penah terusik selama ni. Pergh....hangin le satu badan..Mengelabah masing2. Yang lawak & menyakitkan hati, cikgu tu siap janji akan record setiap game & tayang waktu riadah sebelah petang...apakah...
Tak thrilled langsung..

Dipendekkan ceta, kami pun berpakat ngan bdk2 pompuan pinjam TV extra asrama puteri. Aku tak berapa ingat sape mastermind or director, yg penting aku cuma bawak watak kecil, cover line kat surau tatkala "Ops World Cup" dilancarkan..
Modus operandi? Setiap hari, waktu antara Maghrib & Isya' akan ade aktiviti kat surau..Masa tu la operasi memindahkan tv tu berlangsung. Mujur le warden takde spot check time tu, kalo tak mengelabah gak la aku..

Sepanjang hari2 pertama (group stage), semua terkawal. Kalau cikgu Math kitorg tu bercerita pasal game live hari tu kat kelas, kitorang dgn selambanye buat2 tak tau result & tanya cikgu best ke tak game tu? Real sungguh la kitorang berlakon time tu..

Then the moment came..

Masa tu quarter-final Argentina vs England..
Beckham kene kad merah & game pulak seri sampai abis extra time...

Opss..lupa aku nak bagitau betapa seksanye nengok bola tapi takleh bersorak & menjerit..Kalo sorang terlepas jerit,masing2 dah mengelabah takut kantoi..hahaha..

So, bile dah penalti tu..waktu dah nak subuh..
Bile abis game, keadaan dah tak terkawal. Warden plak dah bersiap2 meronda nak kejut subuh..Maka korang paham2 je la ape yg berlaku..

Tribute pada geng2 (Taib, Tumen, Dent dll) yg bersama2 memerah idea & mengambil risiko memastikan liputan siaran langsung direalisasikan..Ahaks..
Special tribute buat 3 dara pingitan yg teruk dimarahi warden akibat bersubahat dgn kitorang..(Zaza, Enn & Nad..opss..mcm kenal?!!hehehe)

P/S: The ball is round & the pitch is uneven..May the best team wins..
(1998 aku support Spain tapi bungkus awal. This time, it is still Spain..hope they can break the jinx) :-)

New Craze in Town

As a football fan, EURO2008 is just like any other tournament I will be looking forward, besides World Cup, EPL etc..

I love football since I was 7. My first boot I bought was Lotto, using my own Duit Raya. To tell you my obsession with football would be a long story..
In short, it was enough to make my mum sick of me..hehehe (wall full of posters, shirts were all football jerseys, room full of football magazines..bla..bla...)

I started playing football for my school since Standard 4. It's not because I am too good, but I guess Malaysia lacks of good footballers..(let's face it, this is the truth..hehehe)

Although my interest is not that "crazy" nowadays, I still enjoy watching the games & news occasionally.

So, back to EURO2008. It's already kicked off last midnight. FYI, all matches will kick off at midnight or later..Meaning, if you are really a fanatic, I bet you don't mind sacrifice your bedtime to support the team you like. Not so for me. I had developed the tendency to watch only the highlights (where only goals & attempts shown), so I don't have to stay up & sacrifice my sleeping time. :-)

Anyway, I won't say will never stay or wake up to watch the game. Especially when it comes to knock out stages (quarter, semi & final), sometimes the games are worth watching.

Anyway, let me remind myself & anybody who wake up before dawn to watch the games. Please try to perform at least 2 rakaat of solat tahajjud (more is better). This is actually the best & closest time to Allah..If we really know who Allah is, then the ball will be just nothing..

P/S: Congrats to Acit & Nadey, for the 2nd baby (8 June 08 @ 6.21am). I know it's EURO..but don't name your baby as Ahmad Ronaldo or Mohd Ballack please..hehehe ;-)

Thomas Cup vs Champions' League

Well, 2 disappointments within 2-week time somehow make me ponder on something.

First, it was Thomas Cup semi-final when Malaysia was defeated by China 2-3. The defeat is expected. When the tie was 2-2, I still put a little hope, how slim I aware it was..

Second, the team I support Chelsea lost to Man United 5-6 on penalties (1-1 regular time). It was so close yet too far..

Between two, my favourite disappointment is the second.

You might wonder why..
This is what we called sportmanship.

Just to let you know..
during 3rd single of Thomas Cup (the decider), I didn't watch 2nd set coz I already know the result looking the way 1st set was played.
No offence, but that 'man' really let the nation down. Fullstop.

Back to Champions League. To be frank, I am not a fanatic Chelsea fan. Just because I hate Man United most (again, no offence..hihihi), so I pick Chelsea, the team I believe a strong contender & challenger to Man United.
The final was amazing. I won't go into details. Ask any impartial analyst will say Chelsea deserve to win. Especially that poor captain, who missed the kick. Anyway, this is football & that's why it is the most popular sport on earth..Full of uncertainties, full of surprises...

So, comparing the two matches..I suddenly realized that I do not mind losing as long as you give your best shot.
